Alexa Giordano, M.S., CCC-SLP

Alexa Giordano received her Masters of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Boston University. Throughout her time there, she pursued educational and practicum experiences surrounding specialized assessment and intervention of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Prior to getting her masters, she graduated magna cum laude and received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Worcester State University. She holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, Alexa holds a license in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Massachusetts Department of Education.

Alexa specializes in working with individuals who use AAC and promotes a total communication approach. She has worked to treat and assess a variety of language disorders and diagnosis including: receptive-expressive language delays, Autism Spectrum Disorder, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, global developmental delays, and many other neurological anomalies/syndromes.

In her free time, Alexa Giordano enjoys spending time with family and being outside. She likes to spend time on the Cape and in Lincoln, NH.
