Dan Huy, Psy.D

Dr. Daniel Huy earned his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Marywood University. Dr. Huy is currently a post doctoral fellow at ICCD. He completed his APA-accredited internship at Aspire Health Alliance (formerly South Shore Mental Health) and McLean Hospital. Dr. Huy has a background in providing psychotherapy and psychological assessments to individuals across the lifespan. He uses an integrative approach when treating a wide range of psychological challenges, emphasizing the humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and interpersonal elements of intervention to promote optimal well-being. His experience has been applied in a variety of settings, including private practice, inpatient and partial hospitalization, crisis response, and community outpatient centers. Also prior to his time at ICCD, he was employed as a therapeutic support staff at Friendship House, where he provided individualized behavior interventions for children on the Autism Spectrum. Dr. Huy has also volunteered as a social coach for children on the Autism Spectrum (SOAR Program) through his university. In addition to the clinical treatment, Dr. Huy provides consultation for sports psychology at ICCD and co-leads an internship seminar.

In his free time, Dan enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and traveling.
