Julia Steinberg, LICSWCounseling
Julia Steinberg is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children and families. The majority of the work Julia has done has focused on children on the Autism Spectrum as well as Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disabilities, and co-morbid mental health diagnoses. Julia completed her Bachelors degree at the University of New Hampshire with a concentration in Family Studies and completed her Masters degree in Social Work from Simmons College. Earlier in her career, Julia has worked at The Home for Little Wanderers, The May Institute, Amego, Southeastern ABA, and The Bridge Center. Currently, Julia is a clinician at Cardinal Cushing Centers, providing clinical services to children ages 11-21. Julia has experience working with children with other mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, RAD, Bi-Polar Disorder, adjustment disorders and other emotional regulation difficulties. Julia primarily uses play therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to implement interventions. Julia believes in a strengths-based approach and focusing on collaboration with other providers and the family in order for clients to successfully reach their goals.
