Julie Mello received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Worcester State University after graduating Magna Cum Laude from Bridgewater State University with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds her Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, as well as a license in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Julie is passionate about receiving her specialty in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Julie is receiving her certificate in Assistive Technology through California State University with special interest in AAC. Julie conducts comprehensive speech and language and AAC evaluations to provide recommendations of devices and strategies for educational programming. In addition, she provides consultative and direct therapy services to children and their families regarding use of devices, programming, language acquisition, and vocabulary selection. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, practicing bikram yoga, and spending time with her family down the Cape.
