Kaitlin Mulcahey, M.S. CCC-SLP

Kaitlin Mulcahey received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University in Maryland after graduating from The University of South Florida with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is licensed to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Kaitlin has experience working with the pediatric population in private practices, an outpatient medical setting and a specialized day program. Kaitlin has extensive training in use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) and she enjoys providing training to parents and staff regarding the importance of autonomous communication. Kaitlin is also passionate about working with gestalt language processors and she uses the Natural Language Acquisition approach to develop spontaneous language in kids who “script”. She is a LAMP Words for Life Partner, PROMPT Trained (Level 1) and trained in ASD from the Inside Out which is a developmental approach rooted in Floortime for SLPs working with young autistic children. 

Kaitlin enjoys making sure therapy is fun and meaningful for her clients. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, being outside and spending time with her dogs Nova and Larry.
