Kumi received her Masters degree in occupational therapy from Boston University and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. She has worked with children ages 2-22 with a wide range of abilities and diagnoses including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delay, ADHD, NVLD, hearing loss, and trauma or adoption histories. She has experience working in public and special education schools as well as providing in home services. Before becoming an occupational therapist she was a competitive gymnast and taught kindergarten through the Teach For America program. In her free time Kumi enjoys skiing, hiking, rock climbing and any other outdoor challenges.
