Michael Moss is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who specializes in working with children, adolescents and families. He obtained his Masters in Social Work from Boston College and his undergraduate degree from Wheaton College. Prior to working at ICCD, Michael worked at the Walker Home and School, where he served as a clinician in the Community Based Acute Treatment program, and the Residential program. During his career at Walker, Michael worked with children with a wide range of diagnoses and needs. Michael’s experience includes individual, group and family therapy, along with case management. Michael is a strong proponent of engaging all systems and supports involved with children, through communication and collaboration with family and providers. Additionally, Michael was a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy trainer, and was involved in the Stepping Stones program, a program developed to meet the needs of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Michael’s treatment is strength based, empowering clients to set and reach goals through the utilization of elements of Cognitive Behavioral and Solution Focused Therapy, as well as Social Thinking.
