Suzanne Rostler – OTRegistered Dietician/RD, Feeding Specialist
Nutrition & Feeding Services
Suzanne Rostler is a registered dietitian with expertise in pediatric and adult nutrition. She believes in the power of nutrients found in whole foods to prevent chronic disease and improve vitality and well-being. Whether a patient’s goal is weight loss, diabetes control, cholesterol management or increased energy, Suzanne will develop an eating plan that incorporates a patient’s unique medical history, food preferences, and lifestyle. Suzanne works with individuals with limited diets due to allergies, food intolerance, and sensory preferences.
Suzanne has worked in the Optimal Weight for Life Clinic (OWL) at Boston Children’s Hospital since 2005, helping hundreds of children and their families to achieve a healthier body weight. Many of these children suffer from obesity-related medical issues such as type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol and fatty liver.
Prior to becoming a dietitian, Suzanne worked as a health journalist in New York City. She has written for the national culinary organization, the James Beard Foundation, and is the co-author of “Ending the Food Fight.”
Suzanne received her Master’s of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She has a Master’s degree in Journalism from University of California, Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
