Tim DeLuca received his bachelor and master degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University in Boston. He holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and a License in Speech-Language Pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He has clinical experience across multiple settings including hospital outpatient, public and private schools, residential facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. His primary clinical interests include working with individuals with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and neurodegenerative diseases. Mr. DeLuca is currently employed full-time at a private school for individuals with ASD where he has developed a strong understanding of the concepts of applied behavioral analysis (ABA). He focuses on the use of high- and low-tech alternative and augmentative communication modalities to supplement and compliment functional communication for individuals with limited verbal language abilities.
