Emma completed her master’s degree in speech-language pathology at Boston University, after graduating from the University of California, Santa Cruz with an undergraduate degree in psychology and Critical Race and Ethnic Studies. She is currently completing her clinical fellowship to receive a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Emma has a specific interest in neurodiversity affirming care and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She provides individualized, strength-based interventions that address each child’s unique communication profile, preferences and sensory needs. Emma strives to create a supportive, respectful and effective environment where the child and their support system are central to the therapy process.
In her free time, Emma enjoys knitting, Pilates classes, reading, playing guitar, and spending time with her family (including her dog Duke) in California.
