Per Diem In-Home Behavioral Clinician
location :
The Integrated Center for Child Development currently has openings for Per Diem In-Home Behavioral Clinicians (BCBA).
About ICCD
The Integrated Center for Child Development (ICCD) is a diverse multidisciplinary agency offering neuropsychological, medical, educational, and therapeutic services to children and adolescents who have a range of needs and abilities. We provide quality services to our clients and families, with a focus on individualized treatment.
The Expertise You’ll Bring
The Counseling Department at ICCD is seeking a dedicated licensed BCBA clinician to join our growing outpatient multidisciplinary practice. The Counseling Department’s initiative of In-Home Behavioral Consultation provides short-term parent consultation services the families of children and adolescents with diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. Services can also be provided to individuals without an ASD diagnosis.Applicants should predominantly have afternoon and evening availability, although there may be opportunities for some morning hours, depending on case presentation. MUST be fully licensed at the time of application submission; BCBAs will be considered. Applicants should be available at least two afternoon/evenings per week, with opportunities for increased caseloads to multiple days per week, if interested. After initial assessment and sessions, there may be opportunities for subsequent virtual visits, if clinically appropriate.
The Position
The in-home behavioral clinician would provide direct parent consultation intervention to the child’s parents, to address specific targeted behaviors, in a short-term service model. This intervention may also support continuity of care, as a supplemental service to other therapies the child/family may receive. There will be opportunities to collaborate with additional disciplines at ICCD, mainly developmental medicine and neuropsychology departments, to ensure continuity of care and truly make a difference for the clients who we serve. Per diem reimbursement rates are competitive and will be commensurate with experience and productivity; travel time for the clinician will also be reimbursed. Part-time positions are available, with highly flexible schedules and caseloads to accommodate your existing schedule and employment.
Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, utilizing formalized tools (such as Vineland-3 or ABLLS), conceptualization of treatment plans, submitting insurance pre-authorization paperwork, and timely documentation of services provided. Providers will be working directly with parents/guardians, as part of their treatment approach in an effort to provide generalization of skills across environments.
