Adina completed an undergraduate degree, double majoring in mathematics and psychology at University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2012. She earned her master’s degree from Cambridge College in 2018, and has been a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) since 2019. The majority of her work has been in long-term services, working with individuals with autism and other disabilities primarily between the ages of 4 and 10, although the ages of her clients have ranged from as young as 2.5 to as old as 25 years of age. Adina has experience working in homes, clinics, public schools, day cares, an after-school program, and various community settings. In addition, Adina has participated extensively in social skills groups with clients whose skills varied greatly.
Adina’s passions include working with clients with electronic AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) devices as their primary form of communication, collaborating with parents, making visuals for her clients such as to aid in completing routines or engaging in conversation skills, and finding creative ways to promote independence, autonomy, and self-advocacy for her clients.
