Dr. Kola is a pediatric post-doctoral fellow who earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from APA-accredited William James College. She currently conducts neuropsychological evaluations for young children and adolescents with a broad range of developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, executive function challenges, as well as social-emotional and behavioral concerns under the supervision of Dr. Rafael Castro. Prior to joining ICCD, Dr. Kola worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. She completed a one-year APA accredited internship at the Lynn Community Health Center, with rotations in family medicine, pediatrics, and OB/GYN. There, Dr. Kola provided assessments and behavioral health services to patients who presented with a variety of complex psychiatric diagnoses and chronic medical conditions, as well as parent training and coaching. In addition, she provided neuropsychological and psychological assessments to individuals with a broad range of presentations at the Brenner Assessment and Consultation Center. Dr. Kola has also completed other pre-doctoral internships at Boston Behavioral Medicine, Norwell Partial-Hospitalization Program, and YOU Inc. Residential services, where she provided various psychological services including individual, group, and family therapy. Dr. Kola tailors behavioral health interventions using an integrative patient-centered approach, while utilizing evidenced-based interventions (CBT, DBT, ARC, MI, Biofeedback), to meet the specific needs of individual patients and their presenting problems.
When she is not working, Dr. Kola enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her husband and son.
