Kayla Neumeyer is a bilingual (Spanish/English), neurodivergent speech-language pathologist who received her bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science from Vassar College, and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College in 2017. She holds a Clinical Certificate of Competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), as well as a license in speech-language pathology from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has experience working with children aged 3-21 in schools, ABA centers, in-home, and in private practice settings. She has also delivered speech/language services within a CBAT (community-based acute treatment), a short-term residential program for children with ASD who are experiencing a mental health crisis, giving Kayla extensive experience working with and supporting the communication of children with challenging behaviors. Kayla specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication and is passionate about providing language access to non-speaking children through a child-led, neurodiversity-affirming lens. In her free time, Kayla enjoys doing puzzles, hanging out with her animals, and playing pinball. She looks forward to collaborating with your family!
