Dr. Rachel Alterisio, Psy.D. is a licensed Clinical Pediatric Psychologist at the Integrated Center for Child Development (ICCD). She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from William James College (APA-Accredited) with a concentration in Children & Families of Adversity & Resilience. Her training has largely focused on conducting neuropsychological evaluations and providing evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents with ADHD, medical conditions, mood and anxiety disorders, and trauma.
Before joining ICCD, Dr. Alterisio completed her post-doctoral fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital in the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Program, specializing in neuropsychological assessment and short-term therapy for children with congenital heart disease. She also completed a post-doctoral fellowship at MassGeneral for Children – Salem Hospital, where she conducted neuropsychological evaluations and provided psychotherapy for children and adolescents with developmental and psychiatric concerns.
In addition to neuropsychological testing, Dr. Alterisio has provided therapy and consultation in medical, outpatient, and school-based settings. She is passionate about supporting children with complex medical conditions and trauma, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance neurodevelopmental and psychological well-being.
Outside of the office, she enjoys reading, yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
