Erica Wyner, joins ICCD with 18 years of experience in the fields of Education and Applied Behavior Analysis in Manhattan. She earned a Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Erica’s career began as a special education preschool teacher before pivoting to individualized instruction and teacher training as a behavioral specialist. She brings a particular expertise in supporting neurodiverse children in the general education setting. Her work focuses on individualized learning support, positive behavior interventions, and social skill development for children ranging in age from 2 to 12 years. As an Educational Specialist/ Consultant with ICCD, Erica will also support complex learners and their families by conducting school observations and consulting as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to help determine appropriate intervention strategies and environmental accommodations. Erica is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Licensed Behavior Analyst in the States of New York and Massachusetts, and a dual certified educator in Early Childhood/Childhood Education, as well as in Students with Disabilities in NY State. Erica, a native of Massachusetts, is thrilled to be permanently back in the Boston area after 15 years in New York City.
In her free time, Erica enjoys exploring Boston, traveling, and local hikes with her husband and puppy in Somerville.
