Dr. Gleason is a licensed psychologist who earned her Master’s and Doctoral degrees from Columbia University. She has experience conducting neuropsychological evaluations of children and adolescents with a broad range of challenges and disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, genetic conditions, ADHD and other executive functioning difficulties, learning disabilities, and social/emotional or psychiatric concerns. Prior to completing her doctorate, Dr. Gleason completed a one-year, APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship at the Franciscan Hospital for Children in Brighton, Massachusetts, where she divided her time between school-based psychological services and hospital-based individual and group therapies and neuropsychological evaluations. She then completed a two-year post-doctoral pediatric neuropsychology fellowship at ICCD under the supervision of Dr. Rafael Castro. Her previous experiences include conducting neuropsychological evaluations at the Center for Attention and Learning Disorders at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, New York, completing a full-year school psychology internship at an elementary school in Long Island, New York, and providing individual, group, and family therapy in community mental health and school-based settings. Dr. Gleason’s school psychology and clinical training experiences have afforded her the opportunities to develop expertise in generating recommendations for both educational services and social or emotional needs.
When she is not working, Dr. Gleason especially enjoys music, hiking, and playing with her daughter.
