Lisa is a highly motivated professional with a passion for education and human development. She received her Master’s degree in Human Development and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she enriched her expertise in working with youth through courses in Counseling, Facilitation, Achievement Motivation, and How People Learn. Before pursuing her advanced degree, Lisa dedicated three years to teaching children aged 3-15 in both small group and one-on-one settings. During this period, she also worked with children with dyslexia and ADHD, underscoring her commitment to creating inclusive and customized educational experiences.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, grounding her approach in science-informed interventions. She devoted three years to a research lab focusing on academic interventions, goal setting, and intrinsic motivation among high school and college students. Concurrently, she also contributed a lab on learning and transfer, demonstrating her dedication to understanding the intricacies of the science of learning. Presently, she serves as a college consultant for high school students, guiding them through the crucial transition to higher education. Simultaneously, Lisa is working in the education technology sector, contributing her expertise to a startup on improving high school math outcomes.

In her free time, Lisa enjoys hiking, playing board games, and performing with her local improv team.
